All anglers to abide by current Victorian fishing Regulations.
Tag must be sighted by steward.
Fishing Area is between the Boat ramp located behind the Caravan park in town and the Boat ramp located at the Ski Club.
The event runs from 7:30am-3pm on Easter Saturday.
Golden Perch, silver perch and catfish must be at least 30cm, redfin 25cm and cod 55cm.
Carp to be eligible must be at least 45cm, carp will be excluded from the major prize list.
Each fish will be eligible for one prize only.
Each entrant is eligible for one prize only.
All fish caught and handed to steward will not be returned to angler.
Injured, tethered or dead fish will not be accepted for weighing.
If there are two or more fish weighed in at the same weight, the fish weighed earliest will be eligible for the prize or higher ranked prize.
People aged Under 16 on the day of the competition are eligible for the Junior section. If they pay for a Senior entry they can fish for the Senior section prizes only.
Unless agreed upon by prior arrangement with President or Secretary, prizes not collected by between 10-2pm on Sunday will deemed to be forfeited.
All prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Protests shall be lodged to the Secretary by 3:30pm on day of event.
Anglers using illegal fishing equipment or baits will be disqualified from the event. Entry will not be refunded.
Bank fishing is only permitted in the marked zones. No fishing from Bridges, boats, crafts or any pontoons.
There will be 10 top senior and 10 top junior prizes given, if this exceeds fish weighed the prizes left will be drawn from rod tags.
Unruly behaviour, including bad language or threatening towards any Jeparit Anglers Club Easter Fishing Competition officials will not be tolerated. This behaviour may incur immediate disqualification from the event at the discretion of the President or committee member.
